Idioms/Expressions

Welcome back and happy Friday to our Daily Vitamin readers. I hope you've all had a wonderful week.

We are ending our Fool Expressions theme with the saying (YOU) COULD HAVE FOOLED ME

Definition: An expression meaning that you do not believe what someone is telling you because it's so surprising.

Example 1: You're 6 months pregnant? You could have fooled me! You don't look any different than you did last year!

Example 2: He's only been playing the guitar for three months? Could have fooled me

Example 3: This was a frozen pizza? Could have fooled me. It tastes delicious!

That's all for this week.

Next week we are celebrating Easter with some interesting expressions related to eggs. Join us then. But for now, have a fantastic weekend!
