Hello, everyone! Welcome back to the Daily Vitamin

Today is April 1st, which is known in some countries as April Fool's Day. Our theme for this week will be Fool Expressions, and we begin with APRIL FOOL'S

Definition: An expression people say after they play a joke on someone on April 1st.

Example 1: Your Mom called and she said someone took your bicycle. April fool's!

Example 2: The meeting is cancelled. April fool's!

This expression can be written two ways:
April fools'
April fool's

We did a great post about this holiday, and some vocabulary related to it, in 2005; can you believe we have been creating Daily Vitamin lessons for so long? Enjoy this lesson and its vocabulary at the following link.

Has someone ever played an April Fool's Day joke on you? If so, tell us about it on one of our social media sites (Facebook or Twitter)
